GYG, Griffin, Yancey and Guilbeau, was the final works of Jimmy Griffin. The song on this album, "Why Can't You Love Me Like That", was literally Jimmy's last composition. He was supposed to do the vocal but was unable to finish when Ronnie Guilbeau stepped up and completed the song. There are many great songs on this album, including Jimmy and Rick Yancey's traditional country cut "Memories and Dreams". Ronnie Guilbeau's exceptional "Yesterday's Makeup", and "All You Gotta Do" balance out what is one of the greatest final work of Jimmy Griffin, co-founding member of the group BREAD.
